Celebrating Book Week & Speech Pathology Australia Week. - Staff & Celebrations
Stay up to date with the latest speech pathology tips and trends
What an exciting week it was at North Shore Speech Therapy! Together we celebrated book week** by dressing up as our favourite book characters and sharing magical reading moments with our clients.
Both staff and visitors participated in the fun by dressing up as a book character, and reading the book with their therapist. Our new Practice Manager Victoria was out to impress, and kept us guessing all week by dressing as a different book character every day!
Also in the diary this week was ‘Speech Pathology Australia Week’ and this year the theme was “communicating for life”. Both our Chatswood and Hornsby Speech Therapy clinics held staff lunches where we brought in items starting with “S”, “P”, and “A.
Thanks to everyone who shared in the fun!
**Fun fact: Did you know book week was first introduced in 1945 to encourage Australian authors to write more children’s books?
