North Shore Speech Therapy gives children the skills they need to communicate with confidence. We know that the skills we give children have a positive impact for their whole life, all founded on the basic human right of being able to communicate, learn and interact.
Putting the fun in functional therapy
Founded by Lauren Reinhardt, our approach is grounded in the latest research and relies on an evidence-base and our sound clinical reasoning. This means we only use strategies that we are confident in; saving you time, effort and money. When we assess your child, we’ll give you a detailed management plan that’s clearly explained along with recommended actions so you can work collaboratively with us, teachers and other support professionals. Our therapy approach is always tailored to your child, their strengths and unique goals, and adapted based on your child’s response.
As well as general speech therapy support for children, we have two specialised clinics:
- Early talking and feeding clinic (0-3years)
- School-aged learning and literacy clinic which helps students with diagnosis and treatment of literacy difficulties such as Dyslexia.

And of course, because we’re working with kids, it’s always fun. We place a big emphasis on ensuring children are enjoying their sessions and use regular goal-setting so kids can see the progress they are making. Our therapy is family-friendly, including telehealth sessions so you can fit your child’s therapy into your busy life and other commitments.
We stay up-to-date with best practice through specialised training, regular professional development and strong relationships with the universities.
We love what we do so much and enjoy giving back to the speech pathology and education professions. We regularly hold workshops in reading, spelling, high school language, ASD, learning difficulties and preschool speech and language. If you have a question we probably have a workshop on it!
