A School Holiday Group for Curious Kids in Years 3–6

STEM Squad is one of our newest school holiday group programs and runs every school holidays, with session times and locations varying across the year.

Details for the next school holiday groups will be released soon. Families are encouraged to register their interest to be notified when enrolments open.

🚀 Where Curiosity Meets Connection

Does your child love science, building or problem solving, but need support navigating group interactions?

STEM Squad uses hands-on STEM challenges as a shared interest to support communication, teamwork and social confidence. Children work together on engaging tasks that encourage idea sharing, turn-taking and collaboration in a structured, supportive environment. Can you work together create the strongest and tallest structure? Protect a village from a lava eruption? Play a game with banana and potato controllers?

Groups are designed and led by qualified speech pathologists to ensure learning is purposeful, supportive and engaging.

🔍 What to Expect

Across each session, children will be supported to:

Listen actively and follow multi-step instructions
Ask questions and seek clarification
Share ideas and take turns during group tasks
Solve problems collaboratively and practise negotiation skills including compromise
Communicate clearly within a group setting

Activities are structured to balance independent thinking with teamwork and peer interaction.
