North Shore Speech Therapy’s 2025 Book Donation Drive

At North Shore Speech Therapy, we believe in the power of stories—not just to entertain, but to inspire, comfort, and connect. That’s why, as part of our 2025 Book Week celebrations, we’re proud to launch a Book Donation Drive that brings our community together for a cause that truly matters.
This year, we’re partnering with three incredible organisations:
- 💙 Mary’s House – providing safety and support for women and children escaping domestic violence.
- 💜 The Kuringai Women’s Shelter – offering refuge and resources to women in crisis.
- 💛 The Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation – working to close the literacy gap for vulnerable communities.
Together, we’re collecting new and gently used children’s books to help share the magic of reading with those who need it most. Whether it’s a beloved bedtime story or a thrilling adventure tale, every book donated is a chance for a child to discover new worlds, build confidence, and feel cared for.

It’s easy to get involved:
- Drop your book donations into the collection boxes at any North Shore Speech Therapy clinic.
- Donations are open until September 30.
- We’ll take care of sorting and delivering the books to our partner charities.
